Omar is an Egyptian born and raised cinematographer based in New York City. In 2016, Omar graduated from New York University with a BFA in Film with an specialisation in cinematography. Since graduating, he has worked with award winning cinematographers such as Chases Irvin, Lucas Zal, Chris Ripley in the Electric Department. In 2015, he was nominated for the Best Cinematography Award at the Massachusetts Independent Film Festival for the short film "Maternal". He has lensed over 3 dozen films.
